We recognise that plans can change, and there may be occasions when you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. To do so without incurring any fees, please ensure that you notify us with at least 72 hours notice. For cancellations/late/missed appointments at the Hertfordshire, London clinic or Online we require 72hours notice. Please note that cancellations outside the 72hours period will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.
RDA Autism & ADHD Practice recognises that plans can change, and there may be occasions when you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. To do so without incurring any fees, please ensure that you notify us with at least 72 hours notice.
Minimum notice required: A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment. Notice is only effective once received by the Practice through the agreed contact method. A message sent outside working hours will be treated as received when opened during the next working period unless expressly acknowledged earlier. Without the 72hour notice, the full fee will be charged, 100% of the appointment fee.
Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled by contacting us by phone and speaking to our administrator or e-mailing [email protected].
If you cancel, rearrange, reduce, abandon, disrupt or fail to attend an appointment with less than 72 hours’ notice, the full fee for the appointment will be charged.
If you do not attend an appointment for any reason, including where you forget, misread the date or time, are double-booked, experience non-emergency difficulties, travel delay, or fail to access an online session correctly, the full appointment fee remains payable. If you arrive late, the session will still end at the original scheduled time unless the practitioner agrees otherwise. The full fee remains payable and you understand you will need to pay for further consultations should you require further appointments.
For online sessions, clients are responsible for ensuring they have suitable internet access, a working device, privacy, and correct joining details in advance. Technical issues do not remove the obligation to pay for the booked session.
If a practitioner cancels, reasonable efforts will be made to offer an alternative appointment. The Practice’s liability in such circumstances is limited to refunding any fee already paid for the cancelled appointment or arranging a replacement appointment where appropriate.
Under certain circumstances, it might not be possible for RDA Autism & ADHD Practice to accept a booking and we may be compelled to cancel the same. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any appointment for any reason at our sole discretion. If your appointment is cancelled after you are charged, the said amount will be reversed back to your original payment method. If you book within 14 days of the date of your appointment then you agree to waive the benefit of the standard 14 day ‘cooling off period’ where you would otherwise be entitled to cancel and receive a full refund of any appointment fees paid.
